Edgefield County Administrator Wayne Adams
takes third wife Edgefielddaily.com web posted May 27, 2005 Edgefield County Administrator Ronald Wayne Adams married Margaret Hardman, of Merriwether, in a quiet private ceremony at the Home of friend Patricia Glenn Wednesday night. This is the third marriage for Adams and the second for him since he married Jennifer Elaine Vincent in May in 1998, whom he divorced just recently. Margaret Hardman Adams, of Phoenix Court in Currytown Station, Merriwether, is said to be recently divorced as well. Adams’ first marriage was in 1985. Reports of the private wedding are scant. It is rumored that County Attorney John F. “Buzzy” Byrd officiated the ceremony. Byrd also officiated at Adams’ last marriage. The couple is said to be honeymooning in North Carolina and Adams will return to work on Tuesday or Wednesday. The license was applied for in Aiken County on May 13th and was picked up on May 15th according to the Aiken County Probate Court records. It is unclear why Adams went to Aiken County to apply for the marriage license. Return to Main Page
