  Aiken Regional Medical Centers Honors Nurses web posted May 6, 2010 AIKEN – Aiken Regional Medical Centers (ARMC) is planning a week of events in honor of our nurses for National Nurses Week. Beginning May 6 the nursing staff will have the opportunity to be pampered honored and remembered. At ARMC we value their hard work and dedication because without them our mission to provide quality healthcare services would be impossible. Monday, May 10 the nursing staff will enjoy a spa day from 12-7pm. The day will include 16 rooms with local vendors including Dillard’s, Beauty Control, Just Breathe Studio, Aiken Massage and Allergy, Family Y, Mary Kay, Dr. Combs Chiropractic, and Hammond-Beyer Health Center. Thursday, May 12 we will hold a closing ceremony around 12:30pm in front of the hospital. Colored balloons will be released in honor of Behavioral Nurses, Professional Nursing Educators, Future Nurses, Military Nurses, Acute Care Nurses, Community Nurses, Advance Practice Nurses, and Fallen Nurses. Throughout the week we will honor and salute all of the nurses who have come before, those who serve today, and those who will carry the colors of nursing forward. © Copyright 2010
