web posted August 31, 2012 AIKEN – Aiken County authorities are seeking
information on Eddie James Brockington, 22, for attempted murder of an
Aiken County Deputy, illegal carry of a pistol, failure to stop for
blue lights, and a number of drug charges. Brockington is considered to
be armed and extremely dangerous and should not be approach, according
to the Aiken County Sheriff's Office. Anyone spotting him should call
911 and report his location.
Brockington is wanted after failing to stop on a traffic violation
Wednesday that led to a chase and Brockington trying to run over a
deputy when the chase led to a dead end.
A pistol was recovered from the car and it is believed Brockington may
be armed with a second weapon.
Brockington is a white male standing 5' 8" tall and weighing around 145
pounds with brown hair and green eyes. He has a last known address of
25 Buckskin Ct, Warrenville, SC.
He is wanted for Attempted Murder of a Law Enforcement Office, Unlawful
Carrying of a Pistol, Fail to Stop for Blue Lights, Drugs Prohibited
Acts A, and Distribution of a Controlled Substance within the Proximity
of School. Previous convictions include multiple violent felonies,
according to the Aiken County Sheriff's Office.
