Edgefield County Men Sought in Aiken County Murder

web posted November 12, 2012

AIKEN – The Aiken County Sheriff's Office is seeking two Edgefield County men in connection to a murder of a Bath man Saturday night. 20-year-old Donnie James Davis, of Dixie Clay Road, was pronounced dead at a home located at 56 Church Street in Bath after being shot in the face. 45-year-old David Rosier Jr. (left) and 21-year-old Joshua Rosier, both of Nicholson Road in the Bettis Academy area, are being sought and are considered "armed and dangerous". They were last seen driving a 1999 dark blue Ford Explorer with a ladder rack on top of the driver's side of the vehicle.

The Explorer has a possible South Carolina tag of IBS 674, which is registered to another vehicle, and may have been replaced by another stolen tag at this time.

According to Aiken County Coroner Tim Carlton, Davis was at the home on Church Street when an argument started around 10:30 pm Saturday and Davis was shot in the face. Additional information states a witness told authorities that David Rosier shot Davis in the face with a handgun and fled the scene with Joshua Rosier.

Both men are considered to be armed and dangerous and should not be approached. If you see either man or the vehicle call 911 and provide operators with as much information as possible.

Update: 11.12.12 : No warrants have been issued at this time, according to a warrant list released on Monday morning.
