Suspect sought in armed robbery of Belvedere loan company web posted April 28, 2007 BELVEDERE – The Quick Cash Title Loan Company, located at 246 Edgefield Road in North Augusta, was the site of a reported armed robbery Friday evening just after 6 pm. The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6-foot tall, slender build, wearing dark jeans and dark shirt, a black or dark blue cap with white writing, black “dew rag” and dark tennis shoes. He was last seen fleeing the area on Highway 25 north towards Edgefield County in a dark green or blue Ford SUV with a paper tag. The man was said to have stolen an undisclosed amount of cash in the armed robbery. Edgefield County Deputies were placed on alert and converged on the Merriwether area in an effort to apprehend the suspect if he entered the county. The suspected was described as “armed and dangerous”. After patrolling the area for over an hour without contacting the suspect deputies resumed normal patrol. The Aiken County Sheriff’s is still seeking information in the case from anyone that may have been in the area or spotted the suspect vehicle at this writing. For
