 Bettis Academy Heritage Preservation to host fundraiser April 19 web posted March 26, 2008 BETTIS ACADEMY – In celebration of the National Walk for Parks, The Bettis Academy Heritage Preservation Team will sponsor a fund raising drive in support of the Biddle Hall Museum, located on the Bettis Academy Campus on Bettis Academy Road in Trenton, South Carolina. This event will take place on Friday, April 18, 2008, and Saturday, April 19, 2008. On Friday, beginning at 5:30pm, an old time fish fry will be held on the park grounds. Come out and get your fish dinners or your fish sandwiches until 8:00pm. On Saturday morning, April 19, 2008, the National Walk for Parks registration will begin at 9:00am and the walk with begin at 10:00am. There will be food, silent auction, entertainment and other fun activities. We are asking all in the surrounding areas to come out and support us in this effort. If any vendors are interested in setting up a booth on the grounds, please contact Willia Lanham at 803-649-7709. ©
