The 4
th Annual Gospel Explosion was held Saturday July, 9 in Bettis Academy. Saundra Curry, the events coordinator and founder was busy all morning cooking and tying up all the last minute loose ends. “I’m just trying time to catch a breath,” Curry said while working out problems with some of the cookers.

The event kicked off at 11:00 am and the participants began to arrive around 12 noon. First to take the stage was Pastor Louise Cannon accompanied by her husband, also a Pastor who said he was, “just Pastor Cannon.”

The attendees were also entertained with the stylings of James “Bo” Gardner of Williston S.C. among others. Attendees enjoyed the food, fellowship, and praise throughout the day. The event will be back next year Ms. Curry said.
