County Line Woman Reports Burglary

web posted January 17, 2013

COUNTY LINE – An Edgefield Road woman called the Sheriff's Office Tuesday afternoon to report her son arriving home and finding the side door to the home kicked in and electronics missing. The burglary is believed to have taken place between 9 am and 11 am when the son returned home.

Stolen from the home were an XBox 360 gaming system and several games. Clothes in at least one of the bedrooms had been dumped on the floor, possibly in search of money or jewelry.

The homeowner was able to provide a serial number for the gaming system (537380214705) which was placed in the national crime information system (NCIC).

An investigator arrived to process the scene for possible evidence. It is unknown what, if any, evidence was collected. The gaming system and game were valued at $420 and the damage to the door is estimated at $200.
