 Metal Thieves Steal Car Parts web posted January 25, 2012 COUNTY LINE – Metal thieves struck a home on Rainbow Falls Road making off with car parts valued at over $1,000 sometime between the last week. The homeowner reported the theft Tuesday just before 4 pm when he noticed the items missing. The car parts, a 350 c.i. motor, a transmission, and a smaller Nissan motor were taken from the yard behind the home and were "unsecured", according to an incident report. General belief is the items were taken to be sold as scrap metal. The homeowner did not have serial numbers for any of the items taken. © Copyright 2012 All material is property of
