Agencies combine efforts to stage mock crash scene to teach dangers of teen drinking web posted May 25, 2007 COUNTY LINE – The County Line Fire Department, in association with the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, the Edgefield County Sheriff’s Office, and the Edgefield County EMS will be staging a wreck scene to teach teens about the dangers of drinking and driving. Lt. Gerry Stevens of the County Line Fire Department said it would be, “the biggest event this summer”. The mock scene will be held on June 22. Lt. Stevens said the intent is to show teenagers and adults what happens when people decide to drink and drive, often times ending in death. “This is a must see for everyone in the CSRA with teens,” Lt. Stevens said. All churches and schools are encouraged to attend. The mock scene will be held at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church on Mt. Zion Road at 6:30 pm. For more information please contact Lt.
