 Homeowner discovers burglary web posted December 11, 2008 COUNTY LINE – A Running Creek Drive man called the Sheriff’s Office Tuesday afternoon to report his house being burglarized. The man told the responding deputy that he arrived home shortly after 5 pm and found his front door “kicked in”. The only item known to be missing from the home was a 42” LG flat screen TV, valued at around $1,500 and the damage to the front door was estimated at $425. The Sheriff’s Forensic Investigator arrived and processed the home for evidence. The homeowner did provide investigators with a possible suspect. A follow up was conducted on Wednesday afternoon but that information was not available at this writing. The case is actively under investigation. Historically, break-ins and burglaries increase during this time of year. ©
