48,589,993 dead: 35th Anniversary of Roe vs. Wade
web
posted January 22, 2008
COLUMN – With the South Carolina Democrat
Primary coming this Saturday, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and John
Edwards are rushing to promise the gifts they are going to bring
voters, via taxpayers’ money, if elected and clamoring for the
“redeployment” of our troops from Iraq. The 3,850 named deaths are far
too many they say. Yet they shun discussion of the killing of almost
50,000,000 Americans since 1973. Today marks the 35th Anniversary of
the Supreme Court ruling on Roe vs. Wade, opening the doors to the mass
extinction of America’s most innocent, our children.
You will not see the three standing among crowds of people and TV
cameras, as they did on Monday during Martin Luther King Jr. events in
Columbia, celebrating the premier cause of death among children,
abortion, and a stalwart plank of the National Democrat platform.
Granted, if asked about abortion they will say they do not agree with
it, but they will always vote to protect it.
Somehow the national media lets this double standard slip from their
coverage of the candidates. They cannot wait to show a list of a few
names of those killed in Iraq last week, but never mention the 3,836
killed each day by abortion. 3,850 men and women have been killed in
Iraq since March of 2003, and not all related to combat, to put the
numbers in perceptive.
While all recognize that Social Security is destined for bankruptcy due
to more people eventually drawing benefits than those that are paying
into the system, nobody wants to account for the 50,000,000 men and
women that would now be working and paying taxes had they not been
killed.
Today marks a shameful anniversary in the history of a country founded
on the rights of the individual including the right to, “life, liberty,
and the pursuit of happiness”. May God have mercy upon us all for
allowing the genocide to continue.
