The "Ten Planks"

A Column by the Editor
web posted March 23, 2009
COLUMN – President Obama and the Democrat controlled Congress is wasting no time in trying to use a crisis of their own making to devour control over every aspect of the private sector they can under the guise of “fairness” and to stop rewarding “failure”. Nothing in life is fair and the Democrats are the torchbearer for rewarding failure for the last 60 years through welfare, food stamps, public housing, Medicare, education and a whole host of other programs paid to those who sit at home feeding from the taxpayer trough to show up to vote every four years.

Yet, Obama is not ordinary Democrat and the liberal elite that controls the party and Congress are dead-set on pushing this nation closer to revolt than ever before. Obama and Congressional Democrats scream about contracted retention bonuses paid to employees of AIG and other financial institutions receiving bail out money. Hypocrites every one.

Obama’s administration, with the help of Democrat Chris Dodd, made sure the bonuses were paid under the passage of the emergency TARP bill that was passed without being read. And now they want to blame the executives who kept these institutions afloat for getting paid, calling them “greedy”. In addition, they now want to pass a law to steal those bonuses back through unconstitutional taxation, and announced over the weekend that they want to set the salary that all financial executives make, not just those who have received bail out money.

Karl Marx is no doubt pleased by his protégés now in power in the White House and Congress.

Obama bemoans inheriting a near $1 trillion deficit but fails to mention the $1.2 trillion he and Congress has added in the last 60 days. Obama’s proposed budget will tack on another $3 trillion or more and is expected, by the most conservative estimates, to balloon to $10 trillion in debt. The days of blaming President George Bush is over, Obama and the Democrats own this sorry state of affairs.

And in spite of the economists and business leaders sounding the alarm that Obama and his henchmen are looking to bankrupt this nation, his administration is pushing forward. Damn the torpedoes, full steam ahead.

Obama is also quickly getting his way on his own “national security force” that he campaigned on saying he should have a civilian army just as strong and just as well funded as the military. His own army, forced into indoctrination “camps” (although the bill passed struck the word “camps” and replaced it with the better sounding “campus”), just like Hitler did. I’m not calling Obama Hitler, just pointing out the facts of history and our present reality.

You won’t read about this in the American “media”, but the rest of the world is paying attention. Judi McLeod of the Canadian Free Press put the approval of H.R. 1388 into a rather succinct column titled, “This is the Army, Mrs. Jones!

McLeod writes, “The biting winds of change are blowing through ObamaNation. The same “volunteerism” that kept America running since the days of its founding, wiped out with the stroke of a pen, will no longer be volunteerism.  It becomes forced labor and like the practice of another era, presses American citizens of all ages and creeds, unknowingly into military service.”

“The Give Act puts the finishing touches to Public Allies New Leadership for New Times, modeled after Saul Alinsky’s “Peoples Organizations” and operating under Michelle Obama with an alleged operating budget of more than $75-million a year.

People better pay attention to what is taking place in our nation and turn off the distractions presented by the media such as “American Idol”, “Dancing with the Stars”, and other mind numbing trash aimed at weakening the IQ of the masses beyond the reach of our failed government schools.

For those who failed to pay attention in history class, let me make you aware of the 10 Planks of the Communist Manifesto and where they stand in American law.

1. Abolition of private property and the application of all rents of land to public purposes.
14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution (1868), and various zoning, school & property taxes, Bureau of Land Management (Zoning laws are the first step to government property ownership)

2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.
16th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, 1913, The Social Security Act of 1936.; Joint House Resolution 192 of 1933; and various State "income" taxes. Capital Gains taxes.

3. Abolition of all rights of inheritance.
Federal & State estate Tax (1916); or reformed Probate Laws, and limited inheritance via arbitrary inheritance tax statutes incorporating capital gains taxes.

4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels.
Government seizures, tax liens, Public "law" 99-570 (1986); Executive order 11490, sections 1205, 2002 which gives private land to the Department of Urban Development; the imprisonment of "terrorists" and those who “speak out or write against” the "government" (1997 Crime/Terrorist Bill); or the IRS confiscation of property without due process. Asset forfeiture laws are used by DEA, IRS, ATF etc.).

5. Centralization of credit in the hands of the state, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly.
Federal Reserve which is a privately-owned credit/debt system allowed by the Federal Reserve act of 1913. All local banks are members of the Fed system, and are regulated by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) another privately-owned corporation. Currently the Federal government is in the process of seizing (nationalizing) many of the major financial institutions, AIG, Citi, and others.

6. Centralization of the means of communications and transportation in the hands of the State.
Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Department of Transportation (DOT) mandated through the ICC act of 1887, the Commissions Act of 1934, The Interstate Commerce Commission established in 1938, The Federal Aviation Administration, Federal Communications Commission, and Executive orders 11490, 10999, as well as State mandated driver's licenses and Department of Transportation regulations. ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, NPR, ect.

7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the state, the bringing into cultivation of waste lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.
The Desert Entry Act and the Department of Agriculture… Thus read, "controlled or subsidized" rather than "owned". Easily seen in the Department of Commerce and Labor, Department of Interior, the Environmental Protection Agency, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation, Bureau of Mines, National Park Service, and the IRS.

8. Equal liability of all to labor. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture.
Minimum Wage (and Democrat proposed maximum wages). Fostered by Social Security Administration, Department of Labor, and Federal Public Works Program. Democrat Proposed “Card Check bill” (forced joining of unions-Democrat Party) and “Universal Healthcare” (government takeover of the healthcare industry).

9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries, gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country, by a more equitable distribution of population over the country.
Planning Reorganization act of 1949 , zoning (Title 17 1910-1990) and Super Corporate Farms, as well as Executive orders 11647, 11731 (ten regions) and Public "law" 89-136. Unfunded Federal mandates, unfunded state to county mandates.

10. Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children's factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production.
The Department of Education, the NEA and Outcome Based "Education”. These are used so that all children can be indoctrinated with government propaganda such as "majority rules" and "pay your fair share". Obama proposes cradle to degree “free” education.

The only money government has to provide “free” services is money it has to confiscate from those who produce wealth (work for a living).
