Obama better leader for faithful Catholic than the Pope

web posted July 13, 2009
COLUMN – I just find myself in an utter disbelief that the so-called “national media” can be so openly biased, complicit in promulgating propaganda, calls Obama “sort-of-God”, and then says Obama is a better leader for Catholics than the Pope.

Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, of Newsweek, is just following the template set by all national “news” organizations; Obama is their savior and is the one to lead us in faith, to failure, and into despotism. Newsweek editor Evan Thomas in early June declared on MSNBC: "I mean in a way Obama’s standing above the country, above – above the world, he’s sort of God." Of course, Newsweek (or should that be “Newsweak”) has Townsend penning praise that Obama is a better spiritual leader than the Pope.

“When Obama meets the pope tomorrow, they'll politely disagree about reproductive freedoms and homosexuality, but Catholics back home won't care, because they know Obama's on their side. In fact, Obama's agenda is closer to their views than even the pope's,” Townsend opined on Thursday. After all, since Newsweek has already stated Obama is “sort of God”, who is the Pope compared to the next best thing to God, at least to them.

Obama, who has supported and voted to kill babies born alive, homosexuality, and abotion as a means of birth control has a much better grip on the Bible than the Pope. After all, he spent 20 years in "Rev." Wright's "church" of hate condeming the "white man as the devil".

Yet, no public outrage, at least that the “media” will cover, and certainly no outrage from the media on how blasphemous these words and actions are. No, but they sure made fun of President Bush when he said he prayed to God for guidance about decisions of war and how to lead this nation.

Yeah, how silly, to them Bush should have been praying to Obama.

It just makes me wonder what is going to happen when this liberal, Marxist, one term imposter of a president is kicked out of office. Let’s just hope there is enough of America to rescue from his dictatorial ambitions.
