Liberal Lindsey Graham Seeks Uninformed Voters for Re-election

A Column by the Editor
web posted April 21, 2014

OPINION SC Sen. Lindsey Graham is in a battle to try to hold on to his US Senate Seat for the State of South Carolina. Graham, who runs as a Republican in conservative South Carolina, stays in Washington D.C. and is one of the darlings of the liberal media due to his liberal views, is worried about the strong presence of the TEA Party in SC - and he should be.

There is a commercial that Graham is running everywhere that will accept the ad that touts Graham needing to be reelected to push a bill that would let states "opt out" of ObamaCare. Wow! We should all jump behind Graham now because he has a bill to nowhere.

Those of us, meaning hard working, tax paying, family oriented South Carolinians know that the US House has voted over 30 times to repeal ObamaCare. Not one of those bills has seen the light of day in the US Senate. Yes, that same US Senate of which Graham belongs.

This is the same Graham that chided Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) who stood his ground and filibustered against implementing ObamaCare. Conservatives stuck together, so you knew Lindsey was going to do the opposite and get face-time on the liberal news badmouthing a true conservative. But Graham now wants voters in South Carolina to believe he is a conservative and Cruz is a wacko, as Graham's partner in slime Sen. John "I Lean Left" McCain called him.

But we need to get behind Graham because "I have a Bill"! A bill that will go nowhere, and even if passed, Obama is still President and will veto it anyway. Graham knows this, informed voters know this, the media knows this, but Graham's team - like the good liberals they are - are counting on there being more uninformed voters who will watch a single ad and blindly vote on a lie than informed voters who know better.

You can't blame him though, it worked for Obama twice.
