![]() Jack and Coke Steak web posted Apri 24, 2006 This recipe is per one inch to one and a quarter inch thick steak. Replicate the recipe and steps for each additional steak. Best choices of steaks are: Ribeye, T-bone, New York Strip, Filet Minot (For Filet Minot cut recipe in half) Place steak in shallow dish and pour one once of Jack Daniels bourbon and one once of Coke over the steak. Sprinkle steak with one-half tablespoon of chopped garlic, Kosher salt or sea salt, and pepper. Let steak marinate for at least one hour minutes in the refrigerator. Remove steak(s) from marinade and place on a hot grill. Sear steak for two minutes then turn a quarter turn and cook for an additional two minutes. Turn steak over and repeat process. Steak will be Medium doneness (pink in the middle). No steak sauce is needed or allowed. Serve with baked potato and young greens salad. For
