Halloween Bloodshot Eyeballs web posted October 1, 2006 Ingredients: 2 cups confectioners sugar, divided 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter 3 tbsp. butter, softened 1/2 lb. white chocolate candy coating 24 brown Reeses pieces or milk chocolate M&M's 1 tbsp. water 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. red food coloring In a small mixing bowl, combine confectioners sugar (except for 1 tbsp.) peanut butter and butter. Shape into 1-inch balls and place on a wax-paper lined pan. Chill for 30 mins. or until firm. In a microwave, melt whie candy coating. Stir until smooth. Dip balls into coating and place back on wax-paper. Immediately press one M&M on top of each eyeball for pupils. Let stand for 30 mins. or until set. In a small bowl, combine water, food coloring and 1 tbsp. confectioners sugar. Stir until smooth. Pour mixture into a resealable plastic baggie. Cut a small hole in one corner of baggie. Pipe wavy red lines from pupil down sides of eyeball creating the look of bloodshot eyes. Store in an air-tight container. Yields 2 dozen. For
