Glazed Oriental Wings

web posted December 11, 2006

Ingredients:

3 lbs. chicken wings, (about 15 to 20)
2/3 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup honey
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
2 tsp. 5-spice powder
2 cloves garlic, crushed

Cut each chicken wing at joints, discard tips. Place wings in a shallow, glass dish. Mix remaining ingredients, pour over chicken. Cover and refrigerate, turning chicken occasionally, for at least one hour. Arrange chicken in a foil-lined broiler pan and place on oven rack, reserve marinade. Bake in 375 degee oven for 30 mins. Turn chicken and bake another 30 mins., brushing occasionally with marinade, until done. Yields around 30 appetizers. (Tip: After baking, wings can be covered tightly and refrigerated up to 24 hours ahead. Reheat, uncovered, in 375 degree oven about 15 mins. until hot).
