Fried Won Tons web posted May 14, 2007 Ingredients: 1/4 lb. ground pork, chicken or beef 1 can or bag of shrimp, (6 ozs.), drained and minced 1/4 cup minced mushrooms 1/4 cup diced water chestnuts 1 green onion, finely chopped 2 egg yolks 1 tbsp. soy sauce 1-1/2 tsp. peanut oil 3/4 lb. won ton skins, (about 50) 3 cups peanut oil Won Ton Sauce MIx first 8 ingredients in wok. Set heat at 325 degrees and cook, stirring often, about 5 mins. Cool. Clean and dry wok. Place about 1 tbsp. of mixture in middle of each won ton skin. Moisten edges of wrapper with cold water. Fold in half, diagonally, to form a triangle. Press edges together, to seal. Fry won tons in oil heated to 375 degrees, in an uncovered wok, until golden on both sides. Drain on paper towels. Serve with won ton sauce. Makes approximately 50. Great with Won Ton Sauce (Tip: Can be prepared 1 hour in advance and kept warm in a 200 degree oven). For
