 Obama takes landslide win in Edgefield County web posted January 26, 2008 COUNTY – Barack Obama took Edgefield County in landslide fashion in Saturday's Democrat Primary with a resounding 65.3% of the total votes cast. Hillary Clinton finished a distant second with 25.83% with John Edwards placing third with 8.32%. In all a total of 2,919 votes were cast. No problems were reported Election Officials said. The precinct breakdown and totals are listed below. All results are unofficial.
