  "Day of Resistance" Grows with CSRA Citizens Planning Rally web posted February 5, 2013 COUNTY – A group joining the "Day of Resistance" has drawn residents of the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA) to join forces with other groups to show solidarity against gun control measures pushed by President Obama and Congressional Democrats. Please join us in Augusta on .223 (Feb 23rd) as the Patriots of the CSRA make their voices heard over the thunder of tyranny that now sits in Washington DC. Doc Scheffler of Maingun LLC, a local Military Surplus store has made his business location available for this event. Located on Doug Barnard Parkway, there is a large enough space for people to meet as well as plenty of safe parking. We are working hard to organize this family friendly event. There have been a number of potential guests from the law enforcement and political arenas. Tony Powers of WNRR will be the kickoff speaker. This is the event for the CSRA. People have signed up to attend from as far away as Greenville, SC and Jesup, GA. Volunteers to help with this event are highly sought after.
