  Last Week of Edgefield County Recreation Department Spring Sports Registration web posted February 16, 2013 COUNTY – The Edgefield County Recreation Department’s Spring Sports registration period is winding down. This spring we are offering Dixie Youth Baseball for ages 4-14, Girls Softball for ages 6-15 and Youth Soccer for ages 4-12. The Registration fees are: Dixie Youth Baseball: $45; Dixie Boys Baseball (13-14): $60; Girls softball:$45 and Youth Soccer: $40. Baseball and Softball signups will be set up on Saturday Feb. 16th and 23rd from 10am-12pm at the following locations: Bettis - Merriwether Dixie Youth: Bettis Park; Edgefield Dixie Youth: Edgefield Baseball Complex; Johnston Dixie Youth: Johnston National Guard Armory; Girls Softball: Edgefield Baseball Complex; Dixie Boys (ages13-14): Any of the 3 locations listed above. The last day to sign up for Baseball or Girls softball will be Friday February 23rd. Edgefield County Youth Soccer League has completed their Saturday Sign ups at the soccer complex. To sign up for soccer at this point, you need to come by the County Recreation office or call at 637-2621. The last day to sign-up for soccer is Tuesday February 19th. If anyone is unable to attend any of these dates to signup, the registration forms are available online at www.edgefieldcounty.sc.gov. You are able to print off a form and mail it in to the Recreation Department at 400 Church St. Box 5 Edgefield, SC 29824. The Recreation Department is also open Monday-Friday form 8:30am to 5:00pm. You are welcome to stop by the office to signup.
