 2008 Edgefield County Dixie Youth Baseball-Softball Opening Day Saturday EdgefieldDaily.com to offer online schedules, scores, and standings for season web posted March 25, 2008 COUNTY – The Edgefield County Baseball and Girls Softball League is hosting its opening day jamboree this Saturday, March 29th at the Edgefield Baseball Complex in Edgefield. An opening day ceremony will be held at 10 am on Field # 1. There will be baseball games, pictures, concessions, and other activities throughout the day. The public is invited to come out and enjoy a great day at the ballpark. EdgefieldDaily.com, in conjunction with the County Recreation Department and the Dixie Youth Baseball League, will offer team scores, standings, and schedules so residents can follow and support their local youth teams. Recreation Director Nick Wates said the schedules were being finalized and they would be made available when completed. ©
