The Weekend Before Easter Celebration web posted March 29, 2006 COUNTY – The Edgefield County EMS Relay for Life team will be holding a fundraiser on Saturday, April 8, 2006, from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm at the Merriwether Community Center on Martintown Road (next to the Merriwether Fire Department main station). In addition to fun and games, there will be spaghetti lunches for sale for $5 a plate. There will be an Easter egg hunt and egg dying table, dunking booth, a silent auction with several golf packages, and many other activities for young and old. The EMS Relay for Life team said it was “The Weekend Before Easter Celebration.” All proceeds will go directly to the American Cancer Society.
