Edgefield Forestry Association Scholarship Opportunity web posted April 14, 2009 COUNTY – The Edgefield Forestry Association is pleased to announce it will offer a scholarship this year worth $500 to a deserving student from Edgefield County. Qualified applicants need to major in Forestry, Wildlife Biology, Conservation, Land Surveying, Environmental Science, or Agriculture related studies. Qualifying students need to be graduating high school this year, or already attending a college in one of the above majors at either a two or four year college/university. The deadline for the application process is May 1, 2009. Applicants will be reviewed by the Edgefield Forestry Association Scholarship Committee.
