Edgefield County Interagency Council releases Resources Guide Booklet web posted April 21, 2009  JOHNSTON – At the
March meeting of the
Edgefield County Interagency Council they rolled out their first
publication: the Edgefield County Community Resource Directory.
This booklet contains information for services needed, phone numbers,
emergency assistance and many other services that might be needed by
residents of and surrounding Edgefield County. This booklet is
also used by Edgefield County 211 Help Line.Local agencies that belong to the ECIC have copies of booklet or they are available at the Edgefield County Chamber of Commerce office in Johnston. The Council offered a special thanks to the Business Department Students at the Strom Thurmond Career center and Mrs. Sandra Friar for helping to pull the booklet together. “From typing to assembling the booklet – then off to the press. Thanks for all your hard work,” a release stated. After several years of gathering information – the Edgefield County Resources Guide is now available for Edgefield County to use and find much needed services available.
