  County Recreation Football and Cheerleading registrations to begin Saturday web posted July 29, 2008 COUNTY – The Edgefield County Recreation Football and Cheerleading registrations will begin this coming Saturday for the upcoming fall season and will continue through August 23 with a cut-off date of September 1 for children ages 6-12. Registration forms can be download from EdgefieldDaily.com and a complete list of registration locations and dates are provided. Registration Dates are each Saturday, August 2, 9, 16 & 23, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon. Available locations are the Merriwether Fire Department # 1 on Martintown Rd. across from Big Stevens Creek Church, the Edgefield County Chambers building behind the Courthouse in Edgefield on Jeter Street, Bettis Park, and the Edgefield County Chamber of Commerce in Johnston.
