Edgefield Youth Baseball announces its 2010 Fall Instructional League web posted September 3, 2010 COUNTY – Edgefield Youth Baseball will begin its 2010 Fall Instructional League, September 5th at 5:00 PM at the ballpark in Edgefield. This league is for players, ages 9 - 11 and will deal with teaching the fundamentals of successful baseball. There will only be one practice per week and that will take place on Sunday afternoons. Players should wear cleats, baseball pants, along with any shirt and always have a cap. In addition, they should bring their glove, bat and batting helmet if they own one. If they do not own a batting helmet, the league will provide one. Instructors for this years league include, John Brown Jr., Richard Wates, John Prince and college pitcher, Josh Wilson.
