  Edgefield Daily Seeks Election Workers web posted October 4, 2012 COUNTY – Edgefield Daily is currently seeking at least 8 people to work a one hour shift, or less, at selected election precincts for the November 6 elections. Details of the jobs will be provided to perspective applicants. Average pay per position is $25 for the one hour commitment. The positions are offered according to your location in the county, but you are not limited to live in the area you are hired to cover. We will seek to hire at least one person in each of the following areas, Edgefield, Johnston, Trenton, Merriwether, Westside, Harmony (this could include someone from Johnston, Edgefield, or Trenton), and the Northside. Those seeking the positions must have a cell phone, preferably with texting abilities or email access, and must be reliable. We will also seek alternates in the event circumstances prevent a hire from working on the day of the election.
