Trenton Man Accused of Child Molestation Arrested Again in Georgia
web posted October 8, 2012
CHEROKEE COUNTY, GA – Nikki Ray
Smith, 31,
formerly a self-proclaimed martial arts "master" who was arrested in
July of 2007 for sexual assault with intent to commit criminal sexual
conduct in the first degree against a young girl in Edgefield County
has been arrested
again, this time in Canton Georgia on far more serious charges on
September 28.
The original charge in Edgefield County in 2007 had to be dropped when
the victim was flown to Alaska in the midst of a custody battle forcing
the Edgefield County Sheriff's Office to drop the charges. As a result,
more young people have been victimized, according to information on the
recent arrest.
Smith was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center on charges
of aggravated sexual battery, rape, incest, aggravated child
molestation and sexual exploitation of children.
Smith, who now claims to be "King Nicodemus Smith" of the Government of
New Zion, a sovereign "nation" founded by him at the behest of God,
according to the website produced
by him and his wife Jessylyn Smith,
aka, Queen Zipporah of "New Zion".
Smith remains behind bars without bond, according to the Cherokee
County
Detention Center on Sunday. It is unknown if any charges have been
brought
against his wife at this time. The investigation is ongoing.

Edgefield Daily will have more on the
