Michael Curry Basketball Camp returns to
Edgefield County Edgefielddaily.com web posted June 27, 2005 Professional Basketball Player Michael Curry will bring his basketball camp back to Edgefield County again this year. Curry, the Captain of the Toronto Raptors, enjoys spending time with local youths during the off season. The camp will be held at JET Middle School and registration for the camp will be July, 9, 2005 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm for children ages 6-18. The camp will run from July 11 through the 15th. Camp hours are from 9:00 am till 5:00 pm each day. Doors open at 7:30 am and coaches will stay until 6:00 pm. The cost of the camp is $100. Tracy Hamilton, who brought the camp to the county, said they are looking for sponsors for children who may not be able to afford the registration fee.
