 Edgefield Man Reports Burglary New Year's Eve Day web posted January 3, 2013 EDGEFIELD – An Edgefield man called the Sheriff's Office on Monday to report finding the doors to his barn forced open and car parts and other metal items missing from inside and outside the barn. According to an incident report release on Wednesday, the person or persons pried open the doors to the bard and stole at least $1,100 in items that could be sold for crap metal, including two intake manifolds for a 1956 Ford, one red and one a rust color. A white iron tub was also taken from outside the barn. The deputy processed the scene for evidence and photographed the scene and the damage to the doors.
