Downtown Wine & Chocolate Stroll

web posted January 16, 2013

EDGEFIELD – The Edgefield Community Development Association is sponsoring a Downtown Wine & Chocolate Stroll Thursday February 7th 4:00 until 8:00 pm. Local merchants open their doors and roll out the red carpet for shoppers to peruse merchandise while sipping a glass of wine and tasting chocolate confections, offering up a fun filled night of hospitality and specials in their shops for you to enjoy.

Make sure to get your shopping passport at any of the downtown shops and restaurants and have it punched by each location that you visit for a chance to win an over the top gift basket.  All of the contents have been donated by merchants and artists and also include a bottle of wine & chocolates.*  The basket will be displayed at Park Row, and can be seen on our Facebook and Edgefield Daily News websites.

Stroll the shops and restaurants on Main Street and the square, but don't forget about those great hidden treasures that are off of the beaten path.  Venture down the alleys to Jane Bess Pottery and Chef Bob's, and go behind the courthouse to The House Next Door.

*You must be over 21 to participate
