 Local Libraries packed with fun and learning web posted February 16, 2010 EDGEFIELD – The Edgefield County Library System has many opportunities for the young and old including a “Date Night” for parents to watch a romantic comedy on the “big screen” while children are entertained with games and crafts. Below is a list of upcoming events, dates, and times. Date Night: at the Movies. Join us Feb. 18th at 6 pm to watch a romantic comedy on the big screen while children are entertained with crafts and games. Movie selections include Couples Retreat (Vince Vaughn), I Hate Valentine's Day (John Corbett), and 500 Days of Summer. Take a vote on your preference. (Ages 6-12 only please for childrens' program, parents are required to remain on library premises) Dr. Seuss Parties in Edgefield and Johnston! Celebrate Dr. Seuss’s Birthday with the real life Yertle the Turtle, games, crafts, b-day cake & more! Edgefield Library: Tuesday, March 2nd at 4:00 pm Johnston Library: Thursday, March 4th at 3:30 pm RUGame? Join us at EC Library on March 11th at 6 pm for a Guitar Hero! Tournament!
