 Deadbeat dad sentenced to nine months web posted February 18, 2010  EDGEFIELD – Edgefield County Family Court
got underway this week and one of the Sheriff’s Office Most Wanted,
Thomas Franklin Gay, 30, has been sentenced to nine months behind bars
for failure to pay nearly $29,000 in back child support.Gay was arrested on January 31 after the Sheriff’s Office began acting on anonymous tips and located him at his parent’s home in Merriwether. He was taken into custody without incident. There are currently eighteen wanted persons still on the Most Wanted list for Family Court arrearages of Child Support payments.
