 More Turkeys Flock to Edgefield web posted February 22, 2010 EDGEFIELD – Three more giant turkeys have taken up roost on the Edgefield Town Square this week. Crouch Hardware, Mercy Me!, and Paperwhites saw the turkeys they sponsored being anchored down Friday and they have been quite attention grabbers and the topic of discussions ever since. Sam Crouch said he was thrilled with his turkey, but thought Mercy Me! has one discussed the most. “It’s something else,” Mr. Couch said. The turkeys were purchase by the respective business owners and local artists were commissioned to provide the artwork. The Edgefield Town Council voted to approve the placements outside of the businesses. Below are the three newest members to the flock.
