Camellia Tea at Magnolia Dale March 8 web posted February 26, 2009 EDGEFIELD – The Edgefield Camellia Club invites you to attend its 2d Annual Camellia Tea at Magnolia Dale in downtown Edgefield on Sunday, March 8, 2009 between 3 pm and 5 pm. Admission is free and tickets are not required. The Camellia Tea is a reenactment of similar teas held by Joe and Chrissie Holland about 60 years ago, and in keeping with that tradition sandwiches and desserts are served on china with cloth napkins and tea is poured from silver service. In addition to the tea visitors will see many lovely camellia blooms from the area, over 250 presented last year.
