EDGEFIELD – The Red Hill Houndsmen Association hosted the Second Annual Carolina Classic UKC Elimination Format Squirrel Hunt Saturday at the Bunsen’s Community Center. Black Gold Dog Food, UKC, and Full Cry sponsored the event.

In spite of the rainy weather, a total of 22 entries came from all over the southeast to participate in the competition. The morning hunt started at early at 6:30 am and ended at noon. The Elimination Hunt started about 2pm and ended at 4:30pm.

Wayne Agner, of Edgefield, oversaw the hunt. Also present was Doyle Cook, Club President of the Red Hill Houndsmen Association. Mrs Joy Agner dished up delicious meals to the hunters while Rebecca Corley was on hand to outfit the hunts with anything in need.
