A "Goldilocks" Burglar?

web posted March 1, 2014

EDGEFIELD An Eastview Road woman called the Edgefield County Sheriff's Office Thursday night to report someone being in her house. The home was secure when she arrived and there was no evidence of forced entry, but there was no question someone had been in the home.

According to an incident report, the woman arrived home around 11:30 Thursday and found several lights had been turned on and the blinds in the kitchen window had been moved. Upon further investigation the person left the door to the kitchen pantry open as well.

The person then took a shower in her bathroom, used up "all her soap" and threw the wet towel on her bed and left a large Bojangels cup on the kitchen counter. Nothing else seemed to be disturbed and nothing was reported missing.

The woman said she has no idea who could have entered her home.
