Augusta teen has
become the second to die on Edgefield County Roads early Friday
morning, Edgefield County Coroner Thurmond Burnett said. Brice Allan
White, 19, was pronounced dead on the scene around 2 am.Mr. White was travelling north on Star Road when he ran off the shoulder of the road and overcorrected and lost control of the Ford F150 pickup truck he was driving. The truck careened off the opposing side of the road, began to slide sideways and struck a tree at the driver's door just before it began to roll over, killing him instantly.  Coroner Burnett said
White died of massive head and body trauma.Mr. White showed an address in the City of North Augusta and was dating an Edgefield teen. This marks the second death on Edgefield County Roads this year. © Copyright 2010
