Leon Everette to headline Sandy Oaks Gospel Festival

EDGEFIELD – Leon Everette and the Country Cross Band will be at the Sandy Oaks Gospel Festival next month at the Lazy J Arena. The festival is scheduled to be held on May 9 at 5 pm with gates opening at 2 pm. Bands, food, arts and craft vendors, and plenty of free parking. Opening entertainment provided by The Good-Ol-Boys, Godspeed, Don Goldman. Sandy Quarles, one of the organizers, said there is still room for additional arts and crafts or those just wanting to set up a yard sale.

Tickets will be available at the Gate, $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 6 -11, children under 6 admitted free.

The Lazy J Arena is located just 10 miles west of Edgefield on Highway 23.

Primitive camping will be available the night before the show. Gates will be open for campers from 4 pm until 8 pm Friday.
