  Park Row Market No. 1 brings "live entertainment" to downtown Edgefield web posted April 18, 2008  EDGEFIELD – Park Row
Market No. 1 on the
Edgefield Town Square stepped out of the mold for most Edgefield
downtown businesses and is attempting to reach out to the “after five”
clientele. At least on a trail basis manager Rebecca Roberts said. The
growing popular eatery had accomplished blues guitarist Alex Wilds of
Aiken performing and extended their Thursday hours until 10pm.“We’re just testing the waters,” Mrs. Roberts said, “We’ll see what kind of a response we get.” The idea, Roberts said, was to bring people back to the downtown area when the streets grow empty. “It’s not something we’re going to do every week,” she said. There will be additional nights with live entertainment and future events will be advertised. ©
