  “Family Matters” forum to be held May 3 web posted April 24, 2008 EDGEFIELD – A “Family Matters” forum is scheduled to be held at the Republican Grove Baptist Church on May 3 from 9 am until noon and is sponsored by The Truth Seekers Masonic Lodge no. 391. “We wanted to do something to give us more visibility in the community”, Lodge leader Willie Callaham said Wednesday. Featured speakers will include a wide range of professionals to advise parents and teens on some of the most reoccurring problems faced by families. Mr. Callaham said speakers would include officials from the Heritage, the Department of Juvenile Justice, updates on gang activity, abstinence, and other areas during the Educational Workshop. The public is invited to attend and there is no charge for admission. Refreshments will be provided. Registration will be at 8:30 am prior to the workshop.
