![]() Man found dead in mother's home, cause of death remains unknown web posted Apri 28, 2006 EDGEFIELD – Thursday afternoon Sheriff’s Deputies were called to a report of a man being found dead at a home on Country Club Road. According to information, the man’s mother came home to find the man dead in the bathroom just before 4:00 pm. Deputies arrived on the scene a few minutes later and notified Edgefield County Coroner Thurmond Burnett. There were no signs of criminal activity and the man’s body was taken to Greenwood for an autopsy. The initial results returned on Friday did not list a cause of death Assistant Coroner David Burnett said. “We are still awaiting the toxicology report,” in order to determine the cause of death. The man was identified as Terrence Hill, 28. Mr. Burnett said a present address for Mr. Hill was not available and the home he was found in belonged to his mother. For
