  Paid for by the campaign Break-in reported at Edgefield Mayor's home early Friday morning web posted May 18, 2006 EDGEFIELD – Around 12:40 am Friday 9-1-1 Dispatchers received a call of someone breaking into the home of Mayor Ken Durham. The Mayor was not at home at the time. Mrs. Durham and her daughter retreated to a closet and called police from there. Police arrived moments later and inspected the home and the surrounding area. No subjects were located around the home or in the general vicinity. The report to dispatchers stated they heard glass breaking; however, no broken windows or doors were found and no damage to the home or doors was found. Once the home was found secure police had dispatchers call the residence and the two women came to the front porch to speak with police. For
