Celebration at Trinity Mission Health & Rehab of Edgefield

web posted May 20, 2014

EDGEFIELD – Trinity Mission Health & Rehab of Edgefield is celebrating National Nursing Home Week. This year’s theme is “Living the Aloha Spirit.” Aloha means working together in love respect, kindness, and unity. On May 13th, the facility held their 3rd annual Butterfly release in memory of those who have passed.

Later that evening, they celebrated their annual resident and family cook out with live entertainment by Calvin Henderson. Families, residents, and staff donned grass skirts and Hawaiian shirts, while staff and guests entertained everyone with the latest dance moves. Other events residents are looking forward to this week are Matt Herring, whose singing always draws a large crowd, a Hawaiian pizza party, and ice cream sundaes with pineapple topping.

Trinity Mission Health & Rehab of Edgefield would like to thank families, friends, and the community for their continued support and attendance. They would also like to thank Agape Hospice, Alliance Hospice, Ark Hospice, Calvin Henderson, Hospice of South Carolina, and Palmetto Ambulance Service for volunteering their time and helping to sponsor these events.

Through a collaborative approach this week has been a true testament to “Living the Aloha Spirit.” For information about the facility and their short term rehab program please call Ron Arant, Director of Admissions at 803-637-5312.
