The first report came in late Thursday night when a man reported a truck stolen from the parking lot of the Edgefield County Hospital. The man told police he left the keys in the truck and came out about a half an hour later to find it missing, along with $7,000 in unsigned payroll checks and over $3,000 in tools that were left in the truck. The truck is described as a green 1993 Chevrolet with South Carolina license plates. The second reported theft was reported by an Edgefield man who said he parked his 1986 GMC C35 truck across the street from his Maple Avenue home on Saturday night. When he got up on Sunday he noticed the truck missing. The grey GMC truck was involved in a minor crash the day before and has damage to the side and a broken rear window. For
