NWTF Names Tony Brown New Director of Human Resources

web posted June 12, 2009
EDGEFIELD – The National Wild Turkey Federation has named Tony Brown, PHR, of Graniteville, S.C., as its new Director of Human Resources. In his new role, Brown will oversee matters including recruiting, hiring and employee relations. Brown earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the University of South Carolina and a certification from the Society for Human Resource Management as a Professional in Human Resources.

He has 20 years experience in the human resources field.

Brown said the NWTF's mission of conserving wild turkeys and other wildlife and preserving the hunting tradition is what brought him to work for the organization.

"As an avid outdoorsman, I saw working for the Federation as a great opportunity to get involved with something I'm passionate about," he said.

Brown shares his time with his wife Jill and children Bradley, 13, and Lauren, 10.

A turkey, deer and quail hunter, he also enjoys fishing and working in his yard.

For more information about the NWTF visit www.nwtf.org or call (800) THE-NWTF.
