“Kung Fu Panda” Movie on the Square Saturday night web posted June 12, 2009 EDGEFIELD – This Saturday, June 13th, the Edgefield Community Development Association (ECDA) will show “Kung Fu Panda” on Edgefield’s downtown square. This will be the second movie of the ECDA’s free summer “Downtown Drive-In” series. The movie will begin at dusk and activities for the kids will start on the square at 7:30pm. At 7:45pm the square will come alive with a 30-minute martial arts demonstration by the students of Johnston’s American KemTaeDo Center. Concessions will be available for purchase on the square with the proceeds benefiting the Strom Thurmond High School band. The SC National Army Guard will provide free popcorn and snow cones. Bring something comfy to sit on! The ECDA would like to thank Crouch’s Hardware for sponsoring this movie!
