 Graduation money stolen in burglary web posted June 15, 2007 EDGEFIELD – An Edgefield woman contacted the Sheriff’s Office after discovering the family home Wednesday afternoon. The woman told deputies that she returned from a camping trip and noticed the screen from a window was removed. Once inside she found the window lock broken and lying on the floor next to a screwdriver and a pry bar. At first the woman reported she did not notice anything missing from the Moody Ridge Road home until she discovered the son’s graduation money was missing. Police reports indicate the graduate received approximately $1,000 in twenty and fifty dollar bills. The scene was processed by an investigator with fingerprinting and photographs. There were no listed suspects in the case, which is currently still under investigation. For
